We find The Baths to be such an unusual and lovely spot here in the British Virgin Islands. These extraordinary rocks are so unique – piled high in some places and spread out in others. This is a very popular tourist spot because of the rare beauty of the area, and the wonderful snorkeling.

Just take the ferry over from Road Town, and pick the option with the taxi that takes you right to The Baths. The path down to the beach can be a bit of a walk, but is really well maintained, so just take your time. We usually take our own snorkel gear and towels (both included at AnaCapri Estate), and camp out under some sea grape trees at the bottom of the path. There is a place for lunch, “Poor Man’s Bar”, right on the beach and also a nicer restaurant, “Top of the Baths”, with quite a panoramic view at the entry to The Baths where the taxi shuttle drops you off. The Baths have something for everyone: you can lounge on the beach and soak up the sun, climb the large rocks, snorkel, or venture through the rock caves (requires some ducking down and maneuvering through crevasses, ladders and bridges – very scenic) to the other side to get to Devil’s Bay which is another spectacular beach. You’ll see lots of boats out on the water here, it’s a very popular destination.
